I TRANS2

The iTrans2 infrared gas detector uses an intelligent electronic platform to provide one or two sensor points from a single head for maximum flexibility, superior performance and lower installation costs. With the optional HART communication protocol, the iTrans2 provides remote diagnostics, configuration, or calibration by overlaying a high-frequency current on the standard 4-20 mA analog line.

Automatic sensor recognition, access code security and zero and calibrated fault protection Capable of detecting any combination of gases for a specific environment, iTrans2 utilizes our "intelligent" infrared gas detection technology and recognized security features, and protection against zero and block faults - all encased in an explosion-proof aluminum or stainless steel enclosure.

Microprocessor controlled transmitters are capable of operating independently or configuring a multipoint system. The infrared sensor provides detection of explosive gases (methane, butane, propane, ethylene, hexane, etc.) under more severe environmental conditions, where the presence of poisons could adversely affect the use of a catalytic cell. In addition to the LIE sensor range, the iTrans2 detector can also be configured with a 0-100% infrared methane sensor for biogas applications and infrared CO2 sensors ranging from 0.5% to 100% volume.

Autonomous operation (*)

With optional on-board relays, this fixed gas detector has the added ability to operate autonomously, activating alarms, horns or fans, and can also shut down a system without the need to connect to a central control panel.

(*) Visible local alarm versions must only be installed in ordinary locations
