Detcon The IR-700-CO2 is a non-intrusive "smart" sensor designed to detect and monitor carbon dioxide in the air using a non-dispersive miniature infrared sensor (NDIR) technology.

Available in low and high range versions, the detection ranges (in volume) are 0-0.3%, 0-1%, 0-3%, 0-5% (low end version) and 0-10%, 0- 25%, 0-50% and 0-100% (high-end version). The plug-in, field-replaceable sensor provides a selective response to CO2 and features oversized gold-plated connections that help prevent corrosion.

The sturdy frame of the Model 700 features an electrolytically polished 316 stainless steel case with fully encapsulated electronics and double-layer surge protection.

This innovative design virtually eliminates sensor failure due to water ingress, corrosion, vibration and transient spikes.

A key feature of the IR-700-CO2 is integrated intuitive software that simplifies the operator interface by guiding the user through the usual functions of calibration, configuration and fault diagnosis using an integrated alphanumeric display.

The IR-700-CO2 is equipped with standard 4-20mA and Modbus ™ RS-485 analog outputs. Among its unique features, a wireless option can be used with the Detcon SmartWireless® product line.
