Detcon Model DM-700-N2H4 is a non-intrusive "smart" sensor designed to detect and monitor hydrazine in the air over a range of 0-1 ppm using electrochemical sensor technology.

The field-replaceable, smart plug-in cell provides automatic recognition of the type and range of gases, and features oversized gold-plated connections that help prevent corrosion.

The sturdy frame of the 700 model features an intrinsically safe, polished 316 stainless steel case with fully encapsulated electronics and double-layer surge protection. This innovative design virtually eliminates sensor failure due to water ingress, corrosion, vibration and transient spikes.

A key feature of the Model 700 is an intuitive, built-in software that simplifies the operator interface by guiding the user through the usual calibration, configuration, and troubleshooting functions using an alphanumeric display integrated.

The Model 700 is equipped with standard 4-20 mA analog outputs and Modbus ™ RS-485 outputs. Among its unique features, a wireless option can be used with the Detcon SmartWireless® product line.

Additional integration options include a Remote Alarm Module (RAM), HART, and Foundation Fieldbus. Detcon's toxic gas detectors have a long service life and are backed by a first-class warranty.
