Detcon The DM-701-H2 is a non-intrusive "smart" sensor designed to detect and monitor hydrogen in the air over a range of 0 to 4% by volume using electrochemical sensor technology.

The field-replaceable, smart plug-in cell provides automatic recognition of the type and range of gases, and features oversized gold-plated connections that help prevent corrosion.

The sturdy frame of the 700 model features an intrinsically safe, polished 316 stainless steel case with fully encapsulated electronics and double-layer surge protection.

This innovative design virtually eliminates sensor failure due to water ingress, corrosion, vibration and transient spikes. One of the key features of the Model 700 is an intuitive, built-in software that simplifies the operator interface by guiding the user through the usual functions of calibration, configuration, and troubleshooting using an alphanumeric display integrated.

The Model 700 is equipped with standard 4-20 mA analog outputs and Modbus ™ RS-485 outputs. Among its unique features, a wireless option can be used with the Detcon SmartWireless product line.
