The EE300Ex humidity and temperature transmitter is dedicated to measurement in hazardous areas.

The intrinsically safe EE300Ex can be installed in the explosion hazard zone even in 0/20 zones (Division 1).

The intrinsically safe humidity and temperature transmitter has two 4-20 mA outputs in 2-wire technology.

Moisture measurement in oil:

In the same way as measuring moisture in the air, the EE300Ex is suitable for measuring moisture in the oil.

The water content of the oil can be expressed as absolute value in [ppm] or relative as water activity [aw].

Typical applications for the measurement of moisture in oil are in oil cleaning / drying systems or on oil rigs for online monitoring of lubricating oils and gears.
